Downtown Development Authority

The DDA meets monthly on the Mondays below at 5:30pm in the Village Hall.

The Mancelona Downtown Development Authority works to strengthen and revitalize the Village’s DDA footprint by supporting economic growth, encouraging investment and historic preservation, improving public spaces, and helping guide long-term development efforts within the community. Established in 1994 under Michigan’s Downtown Development Authority legislation, the DDA utilizes development planning and tax increment financing (TIF) tools to support projects and initiatives that enhance the vitality, appearance, and success of Downtown Mancelona.
